Precision Polymer CNC Machining
Custom Plastic Paper Guides
We machine plastic paper guides to customer drawings for equipment that handles paper, film, or sheet materials. Every job starts from the 2D or 3D files supplied by the buyer — no guesswork, no re-interpretation of your design intent.

What Plastic Paper Guides Do in Equipment
These parts guide, support, or separate moving media inside printers, laminators, packaging lines, and converting machines.
Metal Replacement
Used where low friction, chemical resistance, or electrical insulation is required instead of metal components.
Media Contact
Wear surfaces contact the paper, film, or sheet directly and are machined for smooth, repeatable travel.
Common Features
Slots, radii, mounting holes, and contoured edges are all produced from your drawing.
Equipment Types
Printers, laminators, packaging lines, and converting machines across global production sites.
CNC Processes We Use for These Parts
All operations run on the same set of machines to maintain datum consistency across batches.
-
01
CNC Milling
Creates flat profiles, channels, and mounting features.
-
02
Turning
Produces cylindrical or roller-style guides when required.
-
03
Drilling & Tapping
Adds threaded holes or clearance holes to your specification.
-
04
Slotting & Contouring
Handles complex edge profiles that follow the media path.
Materials Selected for Paper Contact Applications
We review the application temperature, chemical exposure, and load before recommending a grade.
Not sure which polymer fits your line? Send the operating conditions with your drawing and we will recommend a grade in the quotation.
| Material | Where It Fits |
|---|---|
| POM / Acetal | Dimensional stability with low moisture uptake. |
| UHMW-PE | High wear resistance on high-speed lines. |
| PTFE / PVDF | Environments with solvents or elevated temperatures. |
| Nylon / PBT | Moderate strength where cost balance is needed. |
Tolerances and Surface Requirements
We document these values on the inspection report that ships with every order.
- ±0.05 mm Linear tolerance held on most features.
- ±0.02 mm Tolerance on critical locating surfaces.
- Ra 1.6–3.2 µm Machined finish on guide edges contacting paper, unless a smoother surface is specified.
- 0.05 mm / 100 mm Flatness controlled on mounting faces.
Prototypes
1–10 pcs
Design validation before larger runs.
Low-Volume Production
50–500 pcs
Supports equipment builds or spare-part programs.
Repeat Orders & Hard-to-Mold Parts
Repeat orders follow the same process once the first-article sample is approved. Parts that cannot be molded economically because of undercuts or material choice fall into this category.
What Global Buyers Need From a Supplier
We address each of these points in the quotation stage, so purchasing, engineering, and production planning all have what they need before the order is placed.
Purchasing Teams
A supplier who reads engineering drawings without extra interpretation.
Engineers
Material data sheets and sample parts for fit testing.
Production Planners
Consistent lead times and export packaging that prevents damage during ocean freight.
Quality Records and Traceability
Each batch receives a first-article inspection report plus in-process checks on critical dimensions.
First-Article Report
Plus in-process checks on critical dimensions for every batch.
Material Certificates
Listing the polymer grade and lot number.
3-Year Retention
Inspection data retained and supplied on request for audit purposes.
Request a Quotation
Send your drawing or 3D model, material preference if known, annual quantity, and any special packaging or marking instructions. We review the files and return a fixed quotation within two working days.
